Best Paper Award

The Best Paper Award is given to an individual or group of individuals whose paper, presented at HVIS2015 and published in the proceedings, is ranked highest against the following criteria:

• Originality
• Difficulty of research
• Importance of research
• Excellence of the written paper

Candidates for the award are nominated by the symposium technical session Chairs following completion of submitted manuscript reviews prior to the symposium. The nominations are presented to the Awards Committee, who then selects the winning paper and informs the Society President. The recipient of the Best Paper Award is announced during the Opening Ceremonies at the start of the Symposium. 

The award consists of a plaque and a monetary remuneration.
